Orthodontic Assistant

I am an Orthodontic assistant here at Cater Galante Orthodontics.  I will be one of the first people you meet when you come to our office, because I take all the photos of our new patients when they come in for their initial exam.  I love working here because I get to meet so many fun patients and parents and I love seeing the progress on their new smiles.

I love the outdoors especially snowboarding and riding and working on my dirt bike.  I am the oldest of 5 in my family and have 3 sisters and 1 brother.  I love spending time with my family and like watching sports with my dad and my brother.  Cooking is another passion of mine too.

I have been an assistant for Drs. Cater and Galante for close to 5 years.  I started out as a patient and saw how much fun it was in their office.  I initially worked at the front desk, but then got an opportunity to learn how to assist the doctors.  I love seeing all our patients and helping them achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.

My favorite thing to do is to travel!  I also enjoy reading, camping and spending time with my family and friends.

I am the Practice Administrator for Cater Galante Orthodontics.  I have many roles in the office, but my main goal is to make sure that our patients are well cared for from the moment they step into our offices until the day they are finally free of retainer check-ups.   

In my spare time I am working on fixing up my new home. I have become a pro at painting; I spend hours in the paint section at Home Depot. Home Depot has become my second home! I also spend plenty of time at PetSmart spoiling my puppy, he loves to go down the toy and treat isle, he thinks they are all for him! I enjoy spending time with my family and am trying to develop my baking skills. My family has been very nice and even ate cupcakes that I forgot to add sugar into, they tasted like a salty biscuit with frosting!

Scheduling Coordinator

I am the scheduling manager for Cater Galante Orthodontics.  I love working here because I get to meet so many fantastic patients and parents.  I love hearing about their great vacations and other stories that they share with me when in the office for their appointments.  I really enjoy seeing the changes that occur during their Orthodontic treatment too!

Here I am in Yosemite National Park doing one of my favorite hobbies, backpacking!  It was something my husband and I started doing 4 years ago and we just love being places that are not well traveled.  I also love strength training which is new to me and so helpful because I love baking too much.

Izzy, my little miniature doxy keeps me from being too lonely since all 3 of my children are now living in San Diego, which also happens to be a place we love to visit.

I have been in the dental field for over 20 years as an assistant working in General Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Orthodontics.  I love Orthodontics the most because I have so much fun seeing all the patients and watching their smiles transform right before my eyes!  I especially love to help those patients who are anxious and nervous about getting their impressions or getting their braces on.  I help them relax and have fun.  

I am also a wife, mother and grandmother. I have 2 sons 1 daughter and 2 amazing granddaughters.  I love being a grand mom because I get to spoil them every time I see them.  Besides spending time with my grandchildren, I enjoy bike riding, golf and trips to the ocean.
